| Abstract: | Basing on the vertical comparison of historical evolution process and different historical fate of China' s ancient academies and Western universities in Middle Ages,this paper made a deepgoing analysis of their cultural courses. Moreover, a tentative exploration is made in commenting the sharp contrasts between the two systems of Western and Eastern culture. |
