摘    要:荀子“无万物之美而可以养乐”这一命题在美学史上第一次从道德修养的角度概括地揭示了无对象审美的真正原因在于主体的精神修养,正是这种精神修养才导致了审美的内在精神境界的产生。这种精神境界是完全个人的、特殊的、主观精神的,而非普遍的、客观外在的。但这种境界作为审美体验却具有普遍性。无论是儒家的、道家的、还是佛家的修养境界,无不具有这种内在精神创造的美。

Abstract:Master Xun says, "Pleasure can be nurtured by self-cultivation without recourse to beauty of the ten thousand things of creation." This may be taken as a thesis that has ever been made in terms of moral self-cultivation for the first time in history, revealing the view in broad Outline that the true reason for Objeciless aesthetics consists in the spiritual selfcultivation of the subject. It is just this spiritual self-cultivation which gives rise to the intrinsic Plane for spiritual aesthetics. This spiritual plane is totally of a personal, particular and subjective one, not of a universal, extrinsic and objective one. But, being a type of aesthetic experience, this kind of plane is characteristic of universality. The same is true of the Confucianist, the Taoist or the Buddhistic, self-cultivation, that is, all of these schools of thought are invariably imbued with beauty of this intrinsically spiritual creation.
