| Abstract: | There are two views about the origin of the name of Tangshan City: It began to be so from the Tang Dynasty or the Late Tang Dynasty.Concluding that Tangshan is so named from the Late Tang Dynasty,the paper reviews the economic,social and cultural development of Tangshan as a town and city. |
