| Abstract: | Fitzgerald is a famous American modern writer and called“spokesman in the knight period”.Most of his works describe the expectations,dissatisfaction and disappointment of the American young generation in the 1920's.“The Great Gatsby”,his most successful novel,mirrors his tortuous life and tragical fate through the image of Gatsby,and exposes deeply the social evil of upholding money.Gatsby in the novel may be said to be another Fitzgerald. |
