| 摘 要： | 《雨中的猫》是海明威作品中一篇充满女性意识和象征手法的佳作。笔者首先分析了《雨中的猫》中的三个重要角色—女人、猫和雨所代表的深层涵义及相互关系,其次,通过对小说中三个主要场景—寻猫、诉猫、送猫的分析来解读女性在男权社会中的附属地位。同时,还指出了传统社会性别角色对女性的束缚以及对女性命名权的忽视。

| Abstract: | Permeated with female consciousness, Cat in the Rain is one of the symbolic novels ever written by Hemingway. To begin with, the author analyses the three important roles in the nove the woman, the cat and rain and indicates their deep - seated meaning and correlation. Secondly, through the analysis on the three main scenes looking for the cat,yearning for the cat, sendinga cat,the author interprets women＇ s secondary status in the man - centered society. Finally, the author points out the traditional social role＇ s bondage on women and the overlook towards women＇ s naming right. |
