| Abstract: | Recent researches show that the relationship between graduate students and their mentors are generally harmonious.Most mentors are concerned about their graduate students,but there is still room for improvement.The differences of program designing and disciplines may variously influence the relationship between students and mentors.The mentors should take the initiative to establish a teacher-and-friend relationship.They should be clearly aware of their responsibilities in a conceptual sense,and insist to communicate with students regularly in their action,and in spite of academic guidance,they should pay attention to the comprehensive development of the students.The graduate students should also make efforts.They need to actively communicate with their mentors and change the tradition of passive acceptance into actively asking questions.The administrative department of the university may take the responsibility of supervising in order to establish an effective system and desirable environment. |
