| 摘 要： | 随着地理信息系统(GIS)技术在各个领域的推广使用,GIS技术与地理空间信息的表示、处理、分析和应用手段的不断发展紧密相连,形成了各种不同功能的GIS系统软件。该文介绍了GIS的定义,分析了当前GIS的应用方向,并着重阐述了GIS今后的发展趋势及其应用领域。
