| 摘 要： | 功能性倒装句是<尤利西斯>主人公意识流的主要表现形式之一,文体学的前景化理论为功能性倒装句的文体分析提供了有力的依据.基于上述理论,本文分析了<尤利西斯>第八章Lestrigonians中功能性倒装句的象征性、及时性和节奏性三种文体意义.

| Abstract: | As one of deviating methods,functional inverted sentences are frequently applied in Bloom's stream of consciousness In Ulysses by James Joyce.They have deep stylistic meanings and become one of the main features of his stream of consciousness.Foregrounding theory in stylistics provides a forceful theoretical basis for stylistic analysis.Based on the foregrounding theory,this paper illustrates the theme,immediacy and rhythm meanings due to the inversion. |
