| 摘 要： | 傣族人民既信仰原始宗教，也信仰小乘佛教，在宗教信仰上形成了傣族信仰二元化的特点。这一特点对傣族文化的各个方面都产生了重要的影响。文章以西双版纳傣语地名为例，论述了傣族宗教信仰对傣族地名命名的影响。并通过佛教地名蕴涵的意义变化得出佛教是从勐海县传入西双版纳，然后在其他地区进行传播的，这一结论也与傣族历史和傣族文献有关记载相吻合。

Impact of the Religions of the Dai Nationality on Place Naming in Dai Language |

| Abstract: | The Dai people believe in both original religion and Hinayana Buddhism, which engender important and all - round influence to the culture of the Dai nationality. By taking places named in the Dai language in Xishuang Banna for example, how the belief of religion exercises a great influence on place naming was discussed. Besides, from the change of the meaning of place names of Buddhism, it is proposed that Buddhism was introduced into Xinshuang Banna from Menghai County, and then spread to other areas. This conclusion matches the records in literatures about the Dai history. |
