| 摘 要： | 司马迁与普鲁塔克人物传记中的历史比较具有相同之处,即两者都紧紧围绕传记人物性格的同与异两方面展开,都具有比较发达的历史比较类型意识和明确而细致的比较观念;不同之处则在于,从比较史学的观点来看,普鲁塔克传记的重点是在比较认识的第一阶段———异中求同,侧重于表现传记人物性格的共性和道德理想性,因而其史学比较还局限于道德史学的范畴之中;司马迁则在异中求同的基础上,进一步在同中求异,因而列传中历史人物一方面能够同真实的历史联系起来,以展现历史的个性,突出地体现了传记的史学比较特色;另一方面也表明司马迁的比较史学思想突破了道德史学的桎梏,进入了探求历史规律———“成一家之言”的思想境界。造成这一差异的根本原因在于两者各自历史观念和世界观的不同。从现代传记史学观念来看,司马迁的比较史学观念更符合现代中西史学比较的发展趋向。

| Abstract: | The similarity in SIMA Qian and PLUTARCH lies in that,they both concentrate their comparisons on the similarities and differences of historical characters,and have an advanced consciousness of historical comparison and typology,as well as an explicit and delicate idea of comparison.The difference lies in that,while PLUTARCH is more concerned with similarities from differences,i.e.with the commonalities of biographical characters and their moral ideals,which is therefore still within the domain of moral historiography,SIMA pays more attention to differences from similarities.So SIMA's historical characters in Shiji(Historian's Records) could,on the one hand,associate the real history so as to reveal the historical characteristics,which saliently displays the historical features of comparison in biography making;and on the other hand,these characters indicate that SIMA's historical idea in comparison has stepped out of the limitation of moral historiography,and entered into a stage exploring the historical laws,which speaks a strong characteristic of his own.The reason for their difference comes from their respective outlooks of the world and of history.And SIMA's methodology in comparative conception agrees more with the development trend of modern historiography. |
