教育市场的可能性及其限度

摘    要:由于教育能给学习者带来巨大且明显的回报 ,原先由政府包办并根据社会的需要来发展的教育 ,正在出现某种私人消费的倾向 ,教育市场初见端倪。市场的介入使中国教育的面貌发生了深刻的变化 ,人民群众享受到了更多的受教育机会。与此同时 ,教育与市场的关系问题也开始成为人们普遍关注的一个热点问题 ,人们在逐步认同这种新的消费文化的合理性的同时 ,开始对切身利益的得失越来越具有敏感性 ,并成为对社会现实满意程度的一个重要评价尺度。消费文化向学校领域的渗透正在引起一系列的教育伦理问题 ,由于市场的驱动机制是私益而不是公益 ,如果缺少对教育市场必要的限制 ,则对于私益的追逐就会演变成为一种无序状态 ,甚至改变教育的公益性质。因此教育不能简单地等同于一般的商品 ,单纯依赖市场渠道不能平衡社会对教育的供求关系。为了保证教育的公益性质 ,必须对市场的介入作出必要的限制

Abstract:Education could bring to learners large and visible paybacks. This is also displayed in China, whose education, once being monopolized and pushed forward to social demands by the Government, is now gaining a tendendy of private consumption, thus the beginning of an educational market. In fact, the market has given rise profound changes to this cause and the masses have enjoyed more educational opportunities than ever before. And the relationship between education and market has come to be a key interest of the public. People who have been taken recognition in the rationality of the new interest construction are becoming more and more sensitive to personal interests, the latter of which have prevailed as a chief evaluation measure for social practice. However, market-oriented mechanism is of personal rather than public interest. And the chase for personal interest would run into chaotic state, or even change the nature of education if indispensable market regulations are wanted. Therefore, education cannot be simply equated to ordinary goods, and hence the supply-demand relation of the society upon education could not be properly maintained if relying on the market only. There must be necessary restrictions on the market for the public interest.
