| 摘 要： | 目前国内外诸多与《周易》有关的各类英译与英文刊物,在基本词汇和用语方面尚处于纷繁凌乱的状态。由于词汇术语的不统一,一语多译现象严重,往往给非汉语读者在阅读与理解上带来极大的障碍与困难。本文列举了几项比较突出的例子加以分析,尤其对“易学”一词的翻译,笔者尝试杜撰了一个英文新学名—“Yimutology”。为了使易学真正走向世界,易学界应该和英语专业界结合,共同探讨研究《周易》的学术翻译,并制定出一套统一、标准的易学用语与术语。

| Abstract: | For the English translation of The Book of Changes Zhouyi, a general inspection of the works that have been published currently shows that there is no common wordages and standard terminologies used in the translation. It has brought the non - Chinese readers great difficulties in understanding and interpreting the Zhouyi. This paper cites a few obvious examples to show the confusion and meanwhile a new English term for the subject of Zhouyi Studies is coined by the author.The proposed term is yimutoloty. In order to let the world have a better nuderstanding on Zhouyi, the author appeals to the circle of yimutology(Zhouyi Studies) to go forward hand in hand with scholars of English literature so that a set of unified and standard terminologies for yimutology could be established. |
