| Abstract: | As the bourgeois democratic educator, Li Shizeng went with the tide of the emergence and development of the new education in the early century. With the comprehension of the western education, he puts forth his idea about part-work and part- study, college area system and equal importance of education and research. In spite of the limitations,his educational idea has a profound and longterm influence on the modernism of Chinese education. |
