| 摘 要： | 文章运用M．K．Halliday的功能语言学来研究英诗翻译的问题。通过对英国诗人拜伦的名诗When We Two Parted及其四种汉译版本的英汉功能语篇的对比分析表明：（一）功能语言学在研究英诗汉译问题方面同样是适用的；（二）语言的形式与意义之间往往不是一种简单的“一一对应”的关系，对英诗翻译的评判不可机械地要求译文的形式必须和原文“一一对等”。

| Abstract: | This paper applies Halliday＇s functional linguistics to the analysis of translations of English poems. Through the comparative analysis on English - Chinese functional discourse of Byron＇s poem When We Two Parted and its four translation versions, this paper shows ： （ 1 ） functional linguistics is applicable in the studies of translation of English poems ; （2） since the form and meaning are not simply corresponding, it is unnecessary to call for the exact equivalence between the form of target text and source text. |
