美国大学教学大纲特点研究

摘    要:教学大纲是一门课程的"宪法",是课程教学过程和学生学习成绩考核的指挥棒.笔者2016-2017年在美国纽约州立大学宾汉顿分校(State University of New York at Binghamton)做国家公派访问学者.期间,接触了《机器学习导论》(Introduction to Machine Learning)这门课程,研究了该课程的教学大纲.美国大学教学大纲内容丰富,注重教学过程和教学环节.研究美国大学教学大纲的编制方法、内容和特点,对提高国内本科教学质量具有重要启发意义.

Research on the Syllabus Features of American Universities

Abstract:Syllabus is regarded as the constitution of a course,which plays a dominant role in the teaching procedure and the design of grading method.The author visited the State University of New York at Binghamton as a government-sponsored visiting scholar in 2016-2017.During the author’s stay,he had access to the course Introduction to Machine Learning and had an opportunity to study its syllabus.The syllabus of American universities is rich in content and places great emphasis on teaching procedure and steps.Therefore,to study the design method,content and features of the syllabus of American universities can give Chinese universities some enlightenment.
