| 摘 要： | 燕卜荪从语词本身的多义、语法结构、语境乃至作者思想、读者心理、社会历史背景诸多方面考察“朦胧”,突破了新批评派常犯的执拗于文本形式分析的不足。但是,燕卜荪的“朦胧”说也存在不足。重新估价燕卜荪的“朦胧”说在语言研究上的重大贡献和不足,以期方家对此作更为深入的研究,并且把宏观研究与微观研究、外部研究与内部研究相结合,真正创造出具有现代中国特色的人文科学的话语体系。

| Abstract: | William Empson studied "Ambiguity" in a lot of respects, such as the polysemia of words and phrases, grammar, context, and even the authors' thoughts, the readers' psychology, and the socially historical background, which broke the defects that the school of new critics rigidly adhered to the analysis of the forms of contexts. However, the theory of 'Ambiguity' by Empson is still expected to be improved. Afresh evaluation on the great contribution and defects of this theory aims to expect for further study from more talents. In addition, the afresh evaluation is going to combine macro-study with micro-study, external study with internal study so as to create a theory of words and phrases with the characteristics of modern Chinese humane studies. |
