| 摘 要： | 通过对高等院校的生均成本和总成本进行分析发现,我国本专科教育依然符合规模经济现象,但在大学特别是研究型大学中,研究生培养处于规模不经济状态。在我国多产出的高等学校中,人才培养和科学研究之间的范围经济现象显著存在。对此,高职高专院校可以挖掘现有的潜力,扩大招生规模;研究型大学的研究生教育可以将发展战略转变为控制规模,提高质量;单一从事科学研究的机构可以发展和加强人才培养功能,或者寻求与高等教育机构的合作甚至合并。大众化条件下应对不同类型的高等教育机构实行分类管理,加强针对性,以促进其充分发挥多样性的功能和特点。

| Abstract: | By analyzing the average cost and total cost of colleges and universities in China , it is found out that in all types of institutions but research universities , economy of scale is significant in undergraduate education , while in universities , especially research universities , dis-economy exists in post-graduate education.
