摘    要:兰斯顿·休斯在《教授》中刻画了一位在白人面前毕恭毕敬、奴性十足的黑人教授。文章依托精神分析理论,应用三重人格学说中本我、自我和超我的关系及集体无意识来阐释小说中教授的心理失衡和人格异化的内因和外因,并指出由这双重原因所造成的故事的悲剧性的艺术效果。

Comments on the Novel "Professor" Written by Langton Hughes from the Perspective of Psychoanalysis

Abstract:Langton Hughes molded in his novel "Professor" a black professor who was respectful and slavish facing the white.The article,based on the psychoanalytic theory,intends to illustrate the internal and external causes which led to the professor’s imbalance in psychology and his deformation in personality resorting to "id,ego,superego" in the three structures of personality and the collective unconsciousness.It also discusses the tragic effect of the story resulting from the two causes.
