Abstract:In the process of developing TCFL textbooks for primary and secondary school,writers or editors need to take many factors into consideration and try their best to keep good balances between universality and particularity,language and culture,knowledge and skills.The successful case of Kuaile Hanyu,a series of textbooks developed and published by People's Education Press,indicates that it's of great importance for TCFL textbook writers and editors to study and understand the curriculum of different countries and make corresponding adaptations to meet the specifics needs for different learners.
