| Abstract: | Wang Duo was an eminent calligrapher in the period of late Ming Dynasty to early Qing Dynasty,and an intellectual painter of distinctive style.His distinctive personal experiences were penetratingly interweaved with his painting.Simple yet profound strokes or mild and unruffled conception all expressed his spiritual pursuit of delights in nature,transcendentness over worldly manners,and "traveling" without journeys to the literal places but through painting his art. |
