| Abstract: | Pragmatic presupposition plays a key role in news headlines. There are many pragmatic means to enrich news headlines. From the pragmatic point of view, this paper discusses the presupposition information in the news headlines, and analyzes the process of inconsistency between the news headlines and its content. |
