| 摘 要： | 太平天国的丧葬礼俗经历了一个由最初允许棺葬 ,到提出“禁止棺葬” ,最后放弃这一政策而屈从于传统势力的过程。太平天国的丧葬是中西文化折衷的反映 ,既具有西方基督教的色彩 ,又具有中国浓厚的传统色彩。在一个久以礼教立国的社会里 ,丧葬文化积淀着特殊的伦理文化 ,因而太平天国丧葬礼俗难逃失败的命运

| Abstract: | During the period of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, funeral customs underwent an evolutionary process, which started from allowing burial initially, forbidding burial, to yielding to traditional customs again. It was a combination of Chinese and Western cultures, having both western religious color and Chinese traditional color. In this long established country that advocates ceremonies and etiquettes, funeral customs represent special ethical culture. All of these indicate the unavoidable failure of funeral customs advocated by Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. But it does provide us with something new. From this point of view, it is a historical progress. |
