| 摘 要： | 篇名是文章的眉目 ,与正文是一个有机的整体。篇名的翻译决非易事 ,需三思而后行 ,因为它要受文化语境与情景语境的共同制约。因此 ,译者须处理好以下四个关系 :上下文的关系 ;中西文化背景的关系 ;读者与译者的关系 ;不同文化语境下修辞表达的关系。这样 ,才能有效地实现篇名翻译的目的

| Abstract: | The title of an article is the name of the composition taken as an organic unit with its main body, whose translation is by no means trivial but ought to be given a careful consideration, for it is restricted by both the cultural and situational backgrounds. Therefore great importance should be attached to the following four relations:the verbal context, the relation between the Chinese and the western cultural background, the relation between receivers and translators and the relation among rhetorical expressions in different cultural backgrounds. |
