| 摘 要： | 进入民国后广州战事频繁，电信业遭受严重破坏。由于人民生活以及战争的需要，在国人努力下广州电信业得到修复整顿。民国时期坎坷前进的电信业对广州城市的近代化发挥了促进作用，加强了广州的对外联系，促进了经济发展，提升了民众的生活质量，推进了广州的近代教育。

| Abstract: | The telecommunication industry of Guangzhou was badly damaged in the period of the Republic of China owing to frequent wars. Thanks to the needs of people and the war, it was overhauled and restored. The checkered progress of the Guangzhou＇s telecommunication industry during the period of the Republic of China contributed to the modernization of the city, strengthened its ties with the outside world, promoted its economic development, improved people＇s quality of life, and pushed forward its modem education. |
