| 摘 要： | 文章以英语习语的临时变体为研究对象,从语言的特性、语言与社会的关系、语言经济原则和语境对语言的约束力,以及语言运用者的心理因素几方面分析了英语习语临时变体产生的原因;对英语习语临时变体形成的几种主要方式,如扩充、压缩、替换、拆分和移位作了分类阐述;最后简要总结了临时变体的功能。

| Abstract: | The paper focuses on the nonce variant of English idioms by two aspects: what accounts for its formation,and into which types it could be divided.For the first aspect,the peculiar feature of language,the association of language and society,economic principle and other circumstances that confine language,and the psychological factor of language speakers are taken into account.For the second,extension,contraction,substitution,division,and transference are the major types.The functions of the nonce variant of English idioms are then summed up as the conclusion. |
