| 摘 要： | 社会主义和谐社会的构建少不了公共图书馆这个大众文化教育职能机构的教化作用，公共图书馆的公共性体现了社会的和谐性、公平性和普适性．它为社会主义和谐社会的构建提供了巨大的智力支撑和精神支持。在构建社会主义和谐社会的今天，只有传承历史、弘扬光大图书馆精神，公共图书馆才能与时俱进，适应新时代、新形势的需要。
