| 摘 要： | 美国高等教育,根植于北美殖民地初期,发展于19世纪,经过20世纪三四十年代的调整和二战后半个世纪以来教育改革向深度和广度的推进,已经取得了令世界瞩目的成就。在此过程中,美国高等教育实现了由“精英教育”向“大众化教育”的转变。特别是20世纪60年代,为适应国家社会经济生活的变化,美国高等教育进行了改革,由此进入了前所未有的迅速发展时期,并最终形成了美国高等教育大众化体系。

| Abstract: | U.S. higher education,founded during Colony Era,has gained magnitude developments. During 1960s,changes of economy and technology,strain of the Cold War,expansion of the War on Poverty,emergence of manpower theory and formation of federal manpower policy,impulsion of Civil Rights movement and needs of many young people to go to colleges led to the reform of American higher education and the formation of massive system of American higher education. |
