| 摘 要： | 传统武术的表演具有日常实用性。大刀会和神拳是义和团的前身,大刀会和神拳起事的地点是直东地区的乡村。大刀会、神拳经常利用请看武戏聚集民众,夸耀武力。直东地区的乡村市场兼有群体性娱乐活动,为游浪武士汇聚提供了场所。晚清的村落庙宇具有团聚同族民众共同祭拜尚武先祖的功能。村落庙宇既有神圣祭祀功能,亦是乡民演示武艺的场域,教民建堂与团众建庙便形成矛盾,而教堂与庙宇的地基就成为义和团和教民冲突的空间性焦点。以乡村演拳和观看武戏为主体性功能的建筑空间构成了大刀会和神拳武力抗教的特殊场所,传统武术显示其具有巫术意味的实用性的同时,也展示出其独特的风俗学的生命力。

| Abstract: | There is everyday practical value in the performance of traditional martial arts. Big Swords Society and the Fists was the predecessor of Yihetuan, or Boxers. They rose in rebellion from villages of Zhili and Shandong regions. Big Swords Society and the Fists often showed their power in the performance of martial arts before people.The country fairs in Zhili and Shandong regions had the features of group recreational activities, which offered the spots for congregation of wandering warriors. In the late Qing Dynasty, the village temples had the function of rallying the clan to worship martial ancestors, where they were places both for worshipping, and for performing martial arts. Therefore the contradiction formed between the builders of churches and temples. The focus spots became the special conflict between the Boxers and Christian believers. The building spaces then became the special spots for armed resistance against Christianity. Traditional martial arts showed its unique folklore vitality while demonstrating their practicality with some meaning of witchcraft. |
