摘    要:刘勰的《文心雕龙·神思》篇是一篇专论艺术构思与想象的著名论文。其“神与物游”说形象地阐明了“心物交融”的过程,开创了形象思维理论的先声;而形象思维的结晶便是“意象”,即“人心营造之象”,作者要像“窥意象而运斤”的“独照之匠”那样,迅摄意象,运笔于纸。而意象的酝酿与定型,其必不可少的前提又“贵在虚静”。“虚静”是创作之前的作者所需之境静与心静的双重要求。

Abstract:Liu Xie' s Great Spirit in The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons is a famous paper about artistic sketching and imagination. In it the theory of "thoughts follow the scene" vividly explains the process of the merging the writer' s heart with the objects, and initiates the theory of imaginative thoughts, the core of which is the image created by writer's heart. The writer should be like a craftsman who independently watch things using the axe while seeing the image, and catch the image and put it in words. The essential premise for the incubation and formation of images is serenity, which requests the serene scene and serene heart in a writer before writing.
