| 摘 要： | 本文从美国旧南方的荣誉与暴力这一角度展开论述，分析了美国南方文化对福克纳创作思想的影响，并对福克纳小说的荣誉与暴力进行了探讨。论文第一部分介绍了美国旧南方荣誉观的形成和暴力的表现形式，说明了人们的荣誉观心理和暴力背后的文化心理原因。论文的第二部分聚焦于福克纳的小说《八月之光》，着重对其中的施暴人物进行了分析，阐述了暴力事件后所体现的不同荣誉观类型。

| Abstract: | From the view of honor and violence in the American Old South,the article analyzes the influence of American southern culture on William Faulkner's literary creation and discusses the artistic reappearance of honor and violence in his novels.Part One introduces the origin and development of people's honor concept in the Old South and the manifestation of violence,expounding the cultural and psychological reasons for violence.Part Two focuses on Faulkner's novel Ligth in the August and by studying the characters,reveals the varied types of honor concept behind violence. |
