关于促进高校办出特色的若干新思考

摘    要:高校办出特色包含三个发展层面:一是从无特色到有特色的发展;二是从特色不鲜明到特色鲜明的发展;三是从特色单一性到多样性的发展。提高高等教育质量并培养出具有高素质、独特性的优秀人才,是高校走特色化办学之路的出发点和终极目标。传承与发展学校办学优良传统,是促进高校办出特色的文化基础;瞄准重点学科专业建设是促进高校办出特色的关键抓手;创新人才培养模式是促进高校办出特色的内驱力与出彩点;增强社会责任意识以及提高社会服务能力是促进高校办出特色的自我造血机制;落实与扩大办学自主权是促进高校办出特色的内在规律要求。

Abstract:A university can be located at three levels in terms of the development of its unique fea- tures: the formation of certain features from scratch~ the formation of distinctive features; the forma- tion of multi-features instead of a single one. The starting point and ultimate goal of feature-oriented university education is to cultivate high-quality and specialized talents. The features of a university should be culturally based on its positive schooling tradition, academically on the construction of key disciplines, technically on the innovation of talent training models, socially on the increase in social re- sponsibility and improvement of public service, and, in terms of educational policies, on the imple- mentation and expansion of higher education autonomy.
