| 摘 要： | 义和团运动是继太平天国运动以来由农民阶级掀起的又一次革命高潮。山西作为义和团运动的中心地区之一,在继山东、直隶义和团运动之后兴起并得以迅猛发展。究其原因主要表现为民族矛盾的激化;阶级矛盾的加深;山西人民富有革命的历史传统,以及在这次运动中清政府地方官员给予了支持。
