| 摘 要： | 《虚字说》是我国第一部以＂虚字＂命名的文言虚字专著,并首次全面运用＂神情声气＂理论研究虚词。《经传释词》是中国传统语言学史上一部杰出的虚词专著。两书都采用了比较归纳法、上下文联系法和推究本义法,而《经传释词》运用的＂因声求义＂法与《虚字说》运用的＂因声求气＂法则彰显了两书研究方法的不同特点,也体现了训诂学派与修辞学派不同的研究视角。

| Abstract: | Xu Zi Shuo is the first monograph on ancient Chinese by the name of ＂xu zi＂ （empty characters） in China, and it is also the first attempt to thoroughly study empty words with the theory of ＂shen qing sheng qi＂ （sounds, meanings and functions）. Jing Zhuan Shi Ci is an outstanding monograph on empty words in traditional Chinese linguistic history. Both books adopt methods like comparative induction, context connection and examination of literal senses. The difference lies in that .ling Zhuan Shi Ci uses ＂sounds for meaning＂, while Xu Zi Shuo uses ＂sounds for functions＂. This difference also reflects the divergent research perspectives between the exegetical school and the rhetorical school. |
