| 摘 要： | 明清时期,苏州成为江南经济最繁荣的城市,外来人口的大量流入使会馆应运而生,会馆在流动人口管理方面作出了显著贡献。改革开放以来,苏州的经济增长势头不容忽视,而外来移民和流民的管理问题也更加突出。以史为鉴,应利用会馆和会所在当前苏州外来人口管理中发挥相应的作用。

Migrated Population and the County Guilds in Suzhou |

| Abstract: | During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Suzhou made itself one of the most prosperous cities in the south of the Yangtze River. A great number of migrated population resulted in the emergence of the county guilds. They have made notable contributions to the management of floating population. Since China introduced the reform and opening-up policies, the tendency of the economic growth of Suzhou should not be ignored. But the problem in the management of migrated and floating population is more evident. As is indicated by the history, county halls and offices of associations should play important roles in the management of the migrated population in Suzhou. |
