| 摘 要： | 习语是语言的重要组成部分，而含动物习语在习语中占相当一部分。动物以其本身的形象特征赋予习语一定的比喻意义，而特殊的文化环境又使习语有了特殊的隐含意义。含动物习语的隐含意义以及动物在英汉习语中的差异是这类习语翻译中不可忽视的重要因素。只有正确理解并把握了这两点，才能在翻译中相对准确地将源语言中含动物习语翻译成符合目的语表达习惯的习语。

| Abstract: | Idioms constitutes an important part in the whole system of language, and there are a lot of idioms which use animals to imply special meanings. In this type of idioms, animals endow idioms vivid and colorful meanings with their own natures, while specified culture makes those idioms embody special hidden meanings. The hidden meanings of those idioms and the different usage on animals between Chinese and English idioms play a vital role in their translation. Only on the basis of accurate appreciation of their meanings and proper management of the divergence, could we translate this type of idioms nicely from the source language to the target language. |
