| 摘 要： | 建设社会主义新农村，需要大批有文化、懂技术、会经营的新型农民，这一切的实现很大程度上依靠教育特别是职业教育，职业教育在新农村建设中大有作为。文章阐述了农村职业教育在提高劳动力素质、促进农村剩余劳动力转移、培养技能型人才等方面的作用，分析了目前农村职业教育中存在的问题，并就如何发展农村职业教育提出了建议。
