摘    要:20世纪西方教育思潮,对东西方国家的教育理论与实践均产生了深刻的影响,并在总体上引领着世界教育的潮流。纵观20世纪整个西方教育发展的历程,不难发现,各种教育思潮之论争,其实质乃是科学与人文、现代与后现代之争。20世纪上半叶,西方教育思潮的演进以科学与人文的论争为线索,而下半叶则以现代与后现代的论争为主要特征。

Abstract:Western educational thoughts in the 20th century had a deep influence on educational theories and practices in both eastern and western countries. And generally, they led the trend of the world education. When viewing the history of the western educational development in the 20th century, we find that the nature of disputes concerning all kinds of educational thoughts is the dispute between scientism and humanism, and the one between modernism and post-modernism. In the first half of the 20th century, the development of western educational thoughts was based on the disputes between scientism and humanism. And in the second half, it was the dispute between modernism and post-modernism that featured the development of educational thoughts.
