| Abstract: | Based on a research into the nationalization of Chinese oil paintings, which Chinese oil painters have been discussing and in the light of my own creative experience, this thesis paper mainly approaches the necessity to nationalize Chinese oil paintings, the national aesthetic consciousness of Chinese oil painting, artistic from and suchlike, with a conclusion that to nationalize Chinese oil paintings, more attempts should be made at interweaving the fine points of Western art with traditional Chinese oil paintings so as to form a national style with distinctive feastures of Chinese oil paintings that can blend national spirit and national qualities with works of art in a natural way. |
