| Abstract: | It is a common view that students of science and engineering should be also accomplished in the humanities.Economic thinking is one of the core elements of the accomplishments in the humanities.A science or engineering education teaches students how to "do things",a humanities education teaches students how to "be a decent person",and an economics education teaches students how to "live a life".The three qualities are inter-related and each is indispensable. |
