| 摘 要： | 要正确译出英汉语中大量与基本色彩有关的词语,关键是准确把握这些色彩词的基本语义和引申义。通过对英汉基本色彩词基本语义和引申义的比较,探讨了色彩词语翻译的一般规律并概括出四种基本译法。

| Abstract: | To successfully translate those expressions including basic color words from English to Chinese or vise versa, it is a key step to master the basic and extended meaning of the color words. By comparing and contrasting the differences of the corresponding color words between English and Chinese, general rules of translating the color words are probed into and consequently four basic practical translating methods are generalized. |
