| 摘 要： | 北宋是中国历史上问题最为严重的时期，中期所面临内外挑战的严峻程度，尤其突出。王安石变法的实践，反映出社会发展内因中一种要求解决问题的历史必然性。然而，变法在当时受到激烈反对而告失败，至后在数百年的历史中一直处于被否定的境地。通过对变法过程的考察，揭示这一改革无终的必然结局。对今天的改革开放无疑具有启迪意义。
