摘    要:“举一隅不以三隅反,则不复也”主张是孔子启发式教学思想的重要组成部分。今人所持“强说人”观点和“教师就应该换另一种办法施教”的观点是对启发式思想的否定与割裂。要全面客观地评价孔子的启发主张,就必须正确认识“举一隅不以三隅反,则不复也”的思想涵义。

Abstract:Confucius said, "If I show a man one corner of a subject, he can not by himself deduce the other three, I will not repeat the lesson." The truth within this sentence composes an important part of his heuristic thought. The now popular notion that teacher should forcefully carry on with their teaching carries some color of isolating the heuristic thought, while the idea that teacher should shift into another kind of teaching method distorts the original meaning of the saying. Therefore, a correct understanding of the afore-mentioned sentence said by Confucius is critical to access the theoretical value of his spirit.
