| 摘 要： | 委婉语是英语中很常见的语言现象,也是一种文化现象。对英语委婉语的构成和翻译进行研究将有助于人们在言语交际中更好地理解和运用委婉语。本文从四个方面分析了英语委婉语的构成原则,并通过实例探讨了英语委婉语的翻译技巧和方法。

| Abstract: | Euphemism is not only a common lingual phenomenon but also a cultural one. A thorough study of the formation and translation of English euphemism will be of great help for people to better understand and use it. In this paper, the author analyses from four respects the forming principles of English euphemism. Based on this, the author puts forward to some strategies for translating English euphemism. |
