相干检测光纤通信实验教学系统设计

摘    要:高速光纤通信技术正在向每通道100 Gbit/s及以上速率发展,相干检测和数字信号处理将成为下一代光纤通信系统的关键技术.以实验室科研平台为基础,设计并实现了相干检测光纤通信实验教学系统.该实验教学系统的运行使研究生对相干光传输技术有了更深刻的理解,增强了研究生分析问题、解决问题的能力,提高了教学质量,研究生在完成实验的同时,还能体验真实的科研活动,为研究生未来的科研工作打下了坚实的基础.

Abstract:High-speed optical fiber communication techniques are currently developing towards 100-Gbit/s per channel or even higher.The key to the next-generation optical communication systems is the coherent optical detection and digital signal processing.An experimental teaching system for graduate students is built on the basis of a laboratory research platform.It is so designed that,after they have finished their own experiments,the graduate students will have a chance to take part in the operation of a real and more advanced system.The teaching practice has proved to be effective to deepen the graduate students’ understanding of the coherent optical transmission process.It improves the quality of the education of graduate students in our laboratory.They can learn how to face and solve problems which they will meet in their future research work.
