| 摘 要： | 汉英民族是两个不同的民族，都有各自与众不同的文化特色。汉英动物词语文化内涵的对应关系有；完全对应；部分对应；截然不同；大相径庭；一语独有。主要原因是：生活环境不同；风俗习惯不同；对动物的认识角度不同；文化占有现象不同。主要译法：直译、意译和换译。

| Abstract: | The Chinese and the English are two defferent nationalities,each has its own cultural characteristics.There are five categories for the equivalents for animal or animal-related words in Chinese and in English.They are: entire or partial equivalents,opposite or great differences in meaning and cultural uniqueness.To translate cultural connotations of Chinese and English animal or animal-related words,one may take the following methods: literal translation,free translation and substitution. |
