| Abstract: | The novels of Wang zengqi are like poems,full of charm.Most previous researchers studied his works from the aspects of narratology,stylistics and aesthetics.This paper analyzes the characteristics of the language in his famous short novel Being Initiated into Monkhood from the aspects of metaphor and metonymy of cognitive linguistics. |
