| 摘 要： | 随着技术的进步,远程教育经历了5个阶段的发展模式。探究影响国际远程教育研究发展的关键文献、核心期刊及研究热点,对于促进我国远程教育研究有重要意义。美国科学情报研究所（ISI）Web of Science中有关远程教育的3806篇文献,经CiteSpace Ⅱ软件可视化分析发现：远程教育研究的发展是围绕远程教育环境的变化而进行的;重要的国际远程教育期刊大部分由美国和英国主办,出版周期长,研究范围广、形式多样;最近几年的研究热点集中在远程教育系统、教学成果及评估、成人学习、模型研究等方面。
