| 摘 要： | “束修”二字，自皇侃疏：“束脩，十束脯也。”朱熹注：“脩，脯也。十艇为柬。”后之学者皆以“束脩”为弟子初次拜见老师的见面礼。今传本孔安国注：“言人能奉礼，自行柬修以上，则皆教诲之。”并未明言此“束脩”即是“束脯”。《尚书·秦誓》孔颖达疏：“孔注《论语》，以‘束修’为‘束带脩饰’，此亦当然。”《后汉书·吴佑传》：李贤注：“束脩，谓束带修饰。郑玄注《论语》曰：‘谓年十五已上也。”’是孔安国、郑玄谓自十五岁“束带修饰”之童子以上者，孔子“未尝不诲也”。孔子设教授徒，“教之以穷理、正心、修己、治人之道”，亦即《礼记·大学篇》“明明德”、“亲民”、“止于至善”的大学之道。大学之道必待大学之人，故孔子授徒，似不当以“束修”即“十艇脯”为“诲之”的条件，而当以是否具备大学学习资格为“诲之”的条件。故本章“束修”之说，当以孔颖达引孔安国《论语》注及李贤等引郑玄《论语》注义长。
