| 摘 要： | 如何以信息化推动大学的变革发展，美国孟菲斯大学为我们树立了成功典范。论文通过对孟菲斯大学IT治理历程的个案考察，发现“设立校级CIO职位，以之整合IT力量，提升信息化战略地位；将IT部门创建为学习型组织，以提升部门凝聚力与效益；CIO与校长携手推动让各利益群体参与规划与决策的IT治理结构改革；以年度IT规划促成众人形成共同愿景；应用各类评估量表评估信息化建设”是其成功经验。孟菲斯大学的成功也昭示IT治理是一场牵涉大学文化、体制、传统的变革，是大学在错综复杂的利益格局中突破体制障碍，推动大学治理，提高大学管理水平的阻力最小之路径。
