口译教学之我见

摘    要:口译课是有别于翻译(笔译)课的一门专业技能课。文章从口译的质量评价标准、口译过程和特点出发,比较口译和翻译的区别,进而指出口译课程性质的独特性、课堂策略的实践性、教学内容的多样性和教学方法的灵活性。

Abstract:The paper aims to clarify a misunderstanding towards Interpretation, a skill--based course for English majors, that it is more or less the same as Translation. Based on the analysis of interpreting with respect to the quality evaluation criteria, process and characteristics, the paper discusses the unique- ness of the course in its nature, and suggests the course be guided by the classroom principle of massive practice, supplemented by diversified teaching contents, and employs a flexible teaching methodology.
